I have a 200 Chevrolet Trailblaizer. It needed a new battery and starter, but, everything worked. Ok, I go and get a new battery first. I installed the battery. Now it is worse than before. Now when I turn the key to start it, nothing. The dash warning lights come on. Turn signals, brake lights, headlights work. Bck-up lights, radio, interior lights do not work not to mention it does not start at all now. I mean nothing. No clicking, no nothing. What the *** Brand new battery but half the stuff works and half does not. Plus on the old battery with the not-so-good starter I could at least get it started. Not now. Checked all fuses. Still have to check relays but do not think that would be an issue. Any ideas or suggestions? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. This is wierd.

If you're lacking radio & interior lights, you should check out the ignition switch.  You'll need a digital multi meter; a $30 one from home depot or lowes should do.

If you want a complete on-line manual, try alldatadiy.com.  I can't remember how much it costs, but it's a one-vehicle version of what the pros use.

Make sure you battery contacts are clean, test the main wires for voltage drop, then run a jumper to test the solenoid and narrow down the problem.
