Hello,
I am new to this forum and I am currently seeking out a used automobile.  I really like the 2004 Acura TSX.  I test drove the vehicle at a dealership called carbiz autos in baltimore MD.  Here is the website.  http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=21&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&criteria=K-%7CE-%7CM-_1_%7CB-17000%7CD-_7070_%7CN-N%7CR-30%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CZ-21236&aff=national&paId=225730716&recnum=1&leadExists=true

Has anyone had any experience with this dealership?  I checked the carfax on this vehicle and it came off a lease(1 owner).  Is this a good buy?  Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Tim

Tim,
I think your choice of vehicle is excellent. I myself am an Acura owner/driver/lover/fan.

I don't have particular experience with that dealership, but I do know of some great dealers in the Baltimore area that I recommend highly because they are clients of mine and have gone through my certification and training to be really great dealers with great customer service. All these dealers can get access to used vehicles as well as new (these are all within 100 miles of you).

Try Radley Acura (888) 401-4840
Try Karen Radley VW (800) 530-8045
Try Saab of Baltimore (888) 581-7057
Try McCafferty Ford (800) 964-5903
Try Schaefer & Strohminger (888) 281-7359
Try Saturn of Fredericksburg (800) 917-4755
Try Radley Chevrolet (800) 819-4902
Try Congressional Volkswagen (800) 853-0052
Try Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis (800) 972-8173

I think you'll find these dealers are great with customers. Either way I think the vehicle you are considering is a good one. And definitely check the Carfax report like you have. That is the surest way to know a vehicle's history. Hard to know if it is a good buy unless we know mileage, condition, price, etc.

Here are some tips on how you can buy a have a quality used car, so as you would not be replacing unnecessary parts along the way...Hope, this might help...
Tips & Warnings
• As a final precaution, take the car to a mechanic, who should charge a reasonable fee to check over a used car. The seller should agree to this, but may require that you leave a deposit. If the seller won't let you take the car, offer to meet him or her at a mutually convenient garage.
• If you give the seller a deposit in order to take the car to have it checked, make sure to write out an agreement stating that the deposit will be returned immediately if you decide not to buy the car.
If the vehicle's mileage appears unusually low, have a mechanic determine whether someone has tampered with the odometer. If so, the seller must refund any money you have paid and may be liable for punitive damages under federal and state odometer laws…
This is how I acquire my Saab vehicle; I inspected all its auto parts from exterior and interior aspect down to its Saab Wheel Bearing and other accessories. By doing so, you could be sure of the quality of vehicle you are getting. Hope this might help…=)
