the check engine light, the abs light,the brake light, traction light, sometimes when im driving all these lights come on at the same time, all the while the car is running fine. and some times the traction light comes on and the vehicle starts out in second gear. the next time i drive it everything is fine and nothing happens at all.

I have a '99 V70 with a similar problem. Did you eve find out what the problem was?

I have the same symptoms with my 1999 V70. The problem happen within a day of major tuneup (240K) and changing the coil#1. Any ideas on the issue.

your abs module is defective . very common failure. volvofixer@yahoo.com can supply a cheap fix
NOTHING IS DIFFICULT ...........when don't know what your talking about.
