Well again this employee discount on the Ford Freestar sucks really bad
I have learned that when they have discounts and employee discounts that this means unfair value on the car for consumers I brought a Freestar new almost 2 years ago @ $24,000 today its worth $8,000 and there is little or no trade in value on this car I am MADDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!! Yes I should have paid great attention to the employee point line but I thought this was a great opportunity the only way out of the mess is to place at least $5,000 down on the negative equity in order to get another car!! and to top it off the preformance on this car is not good at all I was even sent a buy back letter yeah right another trap I feel tha ford should take back this van or pay $10,000 on set for consumers to break even on a very horrible situation there cars are very over priced!!!!    

Well...I am feeling your pain on the resale! But I love the 18/24 mpg for a 7 passenger vehicle! So if I can find out if anyone has had any specific...or common mechanical problems I'd be happy...if it lasts that long...I'm being jerked around by the Ford Service folks...I have a whistling noise that is coming from my front rt side...that know one can figure out! Tha latest thought is that it is a axel seal...O.K! I will never buy another Ford...my service experiences have really sucked! And since I'm upside down on it,I can't afford to get rid of it!

 I finally take  the rig in to get another opinion about the noise...it was the axle seal...barring...sensor...$650...only to pick it up at closing & drive a mile...& theres the sound again...only it's the left side now...I wasn't happy...I traded it in for a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country...sometimes you just have to cut your loses...you don't want to know what it was worth...it's not worth mentioning!But since I have a bigger rig...I'm not getting the 24 hywy...even though thats what Chrysler maintains the T & C gets...maybe it's the ac...but Im getting more like 21 or a little more 21.8...It is very comfortable & I love the power windows on the passenger sliding doors...I hope the windows dont become a future problem...they take alot of use...
