I am shopping for a new vehicle right now.
At the moment I'm strongly considering an '08 Mazda Tribute. I test drove one on Saturday, and it was fine. I'm concerned that I'm basically buying a Ford (for which I have a low opinion of their quality). For those of you who do own Mazda's (especially the Tribute) - have you been happy with the quality?
Who manufactures the engine for the '08 Tribute?
I'd be really interested to hear from anyone who owns an '08 Tribute.

Well I did some more looking for the '08 Mazda Tribute engines.
As far as I can tell the 2.3L engine is the Mazda 2.3 L MZR 4 (developed with the assistance of Ford). While the 3.0L engine is made Ford 3.0 L Duratec V6 motor.
I would still like to hear thoughts/opinions from any '08 Mazda Tribute owners.
