I can't tell you how bad I was freaking out the day my van decided to not let my key turn. I had just drove it a couple of hours earlier and it was fine. I had no idea what to do, all kinds of thoughts going through my head, especially, how am I going to get to work tomorrow. So my boyfriend decides to google the problem and wow, I had no idea alot of people are having the same exact problem. Well, here I am about a month later and I have tried oil to help the problem, which was no help. I don't have to hit the key with a mallet or screwdriver handle anymore, just a few knocks with my hand does the trick. Guess I'm stuck doing that for a while, til I can afford to replace the darn thing. My only question is, if so many people are having the same problem with the key cylinder, then why hasn't Dodge started a recall? I don't understand.
