Honda Odyssey 2001 from park to reverse or drive no shifting occurs, just little difference in RPM. Bad Tranny???

Please help to figure it out. I don't hear anything when shifting. Car was running good and suddenly after usual stop on traffic light --- no shifting to any drive, only motor is gainig RPM in D1 or any other when you acelerate. Also what I noticed it was a specific smel coming out of vechicle. Like something electrical burned out. Any ideas?? What to check???

Electrical Issues will not cause your Honda to do this.
Check your fluid level and color
if its very  dark and smells it could be a bad trans (no external repair)
if its low fill it
will it move ok when sitting for awhile?
if so the filter is blocked with debris
and cannot be serviced without removing and dissambleing the trans...
