I have a 1988 Honda Accord LX with a very stumbing problem. When the engine warms up it stumbles, looses power, and I notice the more gas I give it the more it wants to die. The car idols fine, and has no trouble starting any time, but once it is warm it seems to not be getting spark or possibly fuel? This weekend I did a complete tune up, including; new fuel filters, plugs and wires, cap and rotor. The problem did not stop. Today I brought it to a mechanic and they had it all day, only to leave me stumped. Supposably they tested the fuel pump for volume and presure and it did fine. As well the ran some sort of computer check and came up with nothin, the best they could suggest was a new distributer, and without gaurantee. Anyone have any ideas?

I see you posted a few months ago. And am currently experiencing what I think is the same problem, I was wondering if you have found a solution to your problem yet? I would like to avoid all the time and expence you have gone through. I noticed no one posted any helpful thoughts. Thanks so much !!!
