Can anyone tell me what the spark plug gaps are for a 1998 Ford Contour 2.5 Litre engine?

Should be on a sticker, when you raise the hood, look around the radiator top.

Use BOSCH Spark Plugs for that engine, they don't require any gapping and they work great.

Ask where you bought them, most all brands are pre-gapped for you. Never remove plugs from an aluminum head if it is hot. You could easily strip the threads.
