Can I put a '98 neon motor in a '00 neon?

I have a wrecked '98 neon with a good motor and am looking at a '00 neon with a bad motor... and am wondering if the motor from the 98 will go in the 00?  
I thought it would, but I was looking at manuals on ebay, and they have manuals for 95-99 and 00-05, so was wondering if they are different or not.
