My 1991 Pontiac Firebird will not run. The engine cranks, the battery has a charge, but it sounds like the spark plugs aren't firing. The Alternator's fine, Battery good, Spark Plugs Wiring and Distr. Cap NEW. It must be something in the distributor, right?

If you take the vehicle to a shop, make sure that you take it to a dealer. If you take it to some service station, the mechanic there will do a crappy job and charge you just the same amount. GM Dealerships have trained Technicians, who have access to service info, and will do it correctly, the first time. Even though they have a higher labor rate, does not mean you will pay more for the job, only that the technician will do a better job, faster.
