a few months ago my fuel pump was replaced at the Chevy dealer. Since then when the temperature is fifteen below zero or colder ( it is now fourty eight degrees below zero) the engine does not idle smoothly. Instead it surges from almost dieing out to a high idle. The "check engine soon" light is also on. When it is warmer out side, the engine runns fine and the light is out. Can't really afford the cost of having this problem diagnoised. Dealer thinks that the injectors need replacing, but hey, they don't really know until they try.
