I have a 2000 EB Expy. I bought it almost a year ago. I can see where it is leaking around the windshield and perhaps the driver's door and so I will have the windshield removed and re-set. I have already replaced an alternator. Mine has: the odometer intermittently lit, seat memory no longer works, whenever I use the remote unlock, the mirrors go "up" (most annoying), occasionally the 4WD light comes on by itself, the automatic door locks sometimes don't work, the digital keypad unlock doesn't work any more, and during recent excessive rain from hurricane Irene, the sunroof leaked TONS. Hubby is pretty handy with electrical stuff in cars...hoping I can shamboozle him into spending an afternoon or two on it after I get the windshield re-set.... Overall, sounds like I am fortunate, but I am worried it will get worse. I primarily use my truck for traveling to dog shows and use it when it snows to get to work. **sigh** so much for a "good deal on a truck"

HELLO I HAVE BEEN HAVING AN ISSUE LIKE ALL THE REST OF YOU ON MY 2000 EXPADITION, YOU TURN THE KEY TO THE OFF POSITION AND WEATHER THE FRONT BLOWER IS ON OR OFF THE BLOWER WILL COME ON HIGH, I AM ALSO GETTING A WEIRD THING WHEN THE KEY IS IN THE OFF POSITION MY LCD READOUT ON THE HEATER/AIRCONDITIONER PANEL WILL FLICKER FOR A WHILE THEN SHUT OFF THE OTHERE NIGHT IT DID THIS WITH MY DAUGHTER BUT DID NOT SHUT OFF AND KILLED THE BATTERY ITS A NEW BATTERY I CHARGED THE BATTERY AND NOW IT WILL NOT EVEN MAKE A NOISE. ANY SUGGESTIONS. I HAVE CHECKED I HAVE NO LEAKS OR WATER COMING IN AT ALL. I WAS TOLD IT COULD BE THE STARTER SWITCH.

disconnect the battery with the key off.. keys in your pocket... let it sit for a few minutes... then hook it back up... try to start it by going through a normal.. exit the car.. lock the door... unlock the door... get in.. start the car..
the battery being drawn down to close to zero.. might have triggered the anti theft devices...
so you will have to lock the car .. wait a few minutes then unlock it..
most of the others have talked about a water leak into the electronics behind the dash board... water and electronics don't mix well..
you might want to clean the battery cable terminal ends while you have the cables off... use a wire brush and hot water...
ONE THING........ deeply discharged batteries need to be slowly charged... 2 to 3 amps max at 14 or 15 volts for 6 to 10 hours... i have a current limiting power supply.. i charge deeply discharged batteries.. at 0.5 volts at 17 volts for 10 to 14 hours.. but i have an expensive and out of the normal inventory of people adjustable power supply.. with current limiting..
do the headlights come on when you operate the switch.. do the daytime running lights come on when you turn the key on????
rapid charging a deeply discharged battery may ruin it..
