The brakes on my Buick Park avenue were going to the floor and no pressure was being put on the front pads on the driver side. This front tire kept going so I replaced the master cylinder, bled it and bled the brakes. The new problem is this... I can stop the car but only when I push all the way to the floor and if I push as hard as I can the brake pedal actually starts to rise from the floor and sounds as if were locking up.(very strange) Still doesn't stop the car very well. The pads are new and the car doesn't stop nearly as effectively as it should, which scares me if I ever had to stop quickly. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks

sounds like there is either aa brake leak or you do not have all the air out of the system...
