MAZDA RX-8 SHOULD COME WITH A WARNING! BE PREPARED TO BE TAKEN FOR A RIDE!!! The zoom/zoom is the ride that we as owners are being taken for.  
It seems that most of the people on this Blog are fed up with the Mazda's RX-8 lower than poor performance.  Reading most of the comments here is like some one has taken inventory of every single issue I have had with this car. First month after the delivery of the car. I started the car from the driveway to the garage.  Then the next day it will not start.  Called Mazda they told me they will have it towed to the dealer to be fixed. The Towing, did not happened.  I spent $100.00 for a flat towing to the dealer.  I was told that Mazda would not reimburse me for the towing since, I called a differnt towing company. " Obviously the one that showed up" Then, the vacuum problems. The Voluntary Recall ( Forced Recall). Took them 2 days and the Mazda tech broke the clips that cover air filter.  I had to take it back to the dealer. The Mazda Dealer had the balls to tell me that it was not them, but that they will do me a favor and order me new clips no charge. (The Mazda Service will not give flushed tilet water to put out a fire, unless it was their own). They told me it had to be order. I had to call 2 weeks later to get the clips back on. Only in July 08 with 33K Miles took the car back to the dealer because of the engine problems. I was Spark Plugs,need to be replaced. The spark plugs corroded the coils, they need to be replaced. Total % 781.29. I asked what caused the spark plugs to burn so quick they told me the engine runs too hot or not hot enough. What the hell is that mean. ( a Bull...answer) Car ran OK until it hit that 1 yr/ 12K parts guarantee. At 11 months and 2 weeks. I took longer to take it to the dealer. The 12 months elapsed. with only 11K driven on those " BRAND NEW PARTS" they just replaced last year. They told me the parts needed replacement again. According to Mazda it had rotor misfiring issues. Diagnose: $ 110.00.  One Mazda Dealer will not guarantee that the car will run because it was diagnozed by another MAZDA Dealer. They told me that I will need to pay them to diagnose the issue. They wanted me to pay again for diagnose. No way.  I post the question, if Mazda don't trust their own Certified Techs, how the hell am I suppossed to trust you".  The man replied well we are very busy and it will take a few days before we could take your car. I took it to a third Mazda dealer, Still had to pay the diagnose $ 110.00 & today I have to pay $ 800+ for the parts. Spak plugs, coils.  In addition to the regular maintenance, The cost of keeping the car is $2000.00 a year Just on service & parts due to MAZDA's worst product ever fed to us with their sales pitch. I HAD ENOUGH. IF ANYONE IS AWARE OF A CLASS ACTION AGAINST MAZDA, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
