ok the three cars i am considering buying are an acura rsx-s, mitsubishi eclipse and a subaru wrx.  my first question is if i can fit in the rsx however.

i wont be able to sit in an rsx until i come home from school and i only have a week to find and buy a car so i want to start searching before i come home.  i am 6 feet 5 inches tall and the rsx is a really tiny car. does anyone know if i will be able to fit or if its just going to be really uncomfortable? i fit fine in most sedans and coupe's (05 4 door civic and 98 mustang) but will i actually be able to drive the rsx?

assuming i can fit in the rsx fine, im not sure which car would be best.  my top factor is reliability followed very closely by performance and abiblity to modify with aftermarket.  i know all three of the cars i am looking at have a good aftermarket and decent performance stock but from what i have read the rsx is very limited in getting higher hp numbers without a turbo.

The problem with the eclipse is that ive heard they arent the most reliable car out there.  anyone have any insight into this?

Ive heard that subarus get problems with their awd system after 100k miles because its very hard on the drivetrain being in awd all the time.  I cant find any information about this, just that the wrx is a very reliable car.  anyone know?

thanks

Well I dont know about the AWD system going out at 100k. That probably depends on how hard the car is driven. With proper maintenance and no accidents the car should be pretty reliable. The AWD adds to the safety, and allows the car to be driven all year round in almost any weather. I believe the WRX would be the easiest to add power too just a bov and boost controller will add atleast 25-50 hp and the 4 doors make it very practical as a daily driver. The car is made to perform and handles the corners like a true rally car.

My dad drives a 95 Mitsubishi Mirage S. That's the cheapest thing they make. It was a rental car and my brother bought it for my neice. She abused it, ran it low on oil several times. My dad bought it from her and I then traded him for it. I drove it for years and bought a new car. I gave it back to him and he's still driving it. It has about 200K miles and uses and leaks oil. But it starts right up every time and runs fine. There are tons of Eclipse's on the road and most of them I see are pretty nice looking cars. I sincerely doubt they are any more or less reliable than any other car.
