If it's carb'd you would probably want to start with the air/fuel mix. If you are having to prime it every time to start, I would check your fuel pump(s). I'm not sure if that one has an electronic one or not, but check the mechanical pump, then move your way to the electric if it has it.

im thinking you have long crank in the morning bedfore it starts,or after jeep sits for a long period of time, the fuel is bleeding back into the fuel tank, attack a fuel pressure gauge to the fual rail and start vehicle, check fuel pressure, turn vehicle off and see if it holds the pressure or drops, if it drops you need to replace fuel pump module in the tank.
