Hi

A friend just bought a 97 work truck with under 70k miles and says he just found out the auto trans is leaking, a lot.  We have setup a time to inspect it tomorrow, but before getting any estimates, is/are there common leak problems with this vehicle series?

Is there some solution like put a C6 gearshift kit in or ?  does the front seal always go out? or if its leaking in the ...blank... then its got to be a bad  xyz thing?

just get it inspected, there are many places it could be leaking from.
