My wife and I have narrowed our choices to the '06 Acura MDX (loaded) vs. the '05 (new) Land Rover LR3 V8 SE.
It will primarily be used by her, but it will be the only SUV in the family. I drive an Accord. We are looking at SUVs because we will be starting a family soon. We also hope to purchase and keep this SUV for a long time.
We really like the looks of the LR3, but have reliability concerns. Doing the research has eased my mind about the LR3, because everything I read is good. Meanwhile, I KNOW the Acura is a reliable car. I like the Acura's price as well, although the '05 LR3 is only a little more per month when you break it down.
Please post advise, questions, experiences that might help. Thank you in advance!

Nothing? Can anyone tell me about their MDX or LR3? Is this forum site worthless?!

you are impatient man. anyway, just saw you post and i beleive the landrover is worth it for an SUV. that is what i wanted in an SUV but financially not for me. Go for the LR3... you will not regret it. it's an off-road SUV that is car like in driving. if you still can't decide, try to test drive both cars on rough rode and cornering and decide which you think you like.
