I was told the Oil Sending Unit on my Stratus is leaking and I'd like to do the repair myself if possible.  I have the replacement part, but am having trouble locating the part to replace on the engine.  In the front, and with very easy access, there is a part that looks nearly identical, but there is no oil leaking from that, so I am thinking there must be another similar item on the engine.

I have a 1997 Dodge Stratus, 2.4L, 4 cylinder, Auto Transmission.  I tried looking in car repair manuals, but am not having any luck finding anything in either of the 2 I tried.

Should probably be around the oil filter.  If you cant find it, call up your dodge service center, they will probably be more than happy to tell you where it's at.
