1997 Buick Lesabre Custom 3.8 litre V-6 180,000 miles
I have a two - fold problem Problem #1 When I start the car in the morning the car idles extremely fast up to 3500 rpms After running for a couple of minutes I turn off the ignition and restart and the car then idles @ approximately 700 rpms. While driving under normal conditions the car will idle up to 1500 rpms and return to normal.
Problem #2 In overdrive gear car will buck when going up hills. Starting off and up through third gear is fine.
I have replaced egr, tps. I did however recently replace spark plugs and car ran fine for a few days and returned to the above listed issues.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so any suggestions? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you change the plug wires? Many times a bad spark plug can ruin the wires. It's harder for a messed up plug to fire, and it will get the plug wires too hot and ruin them.

This sounds to me like an idle air control valve problem. The ideal way to do an accurate diagnostics is to first hook up a scan tool and see what your coolant temp, Intake air temp sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, MAP or Bp sensor signal read. Any one of the above sensors can give problems.
