Yeah I would only buy a convertible if it were a hardtop one like the Mercedes SL series or Lexus SC430.

Nah, the SLK55 gets my vote for now. Great car and it's a hardtop convertible. But the looks didn't captivate me in real life. Guess that how it goes sometimes, but you won't notice the exterior from the driver's seat anyway.

Cadillac XLR is a pretty cool hardtop. So is the Lexus SC430.
