Any time the word coupe is mentionned I just have to talk about these two cars. They are by far my 2 favorite cars, and if money permitted, would be the first things I would buy.
            - Mercedes-Benz SLR Mclaren: This car is a beast. There's nothing about it I don't love, and I challenge you all to find me something wrong with it. With a 5.5L hand-built supercharged AMG V-8 engine packing 617 hp @ 6500 rpm and 575 lb-ft @ 3250-5000 rpm, this beauty practically flies. It does 0-100 km/h in 3.8 sec, 0-200 km/h in 10.6 sec and 0-300 km/h in 28.8 sec. To top it off, it can go up to 344 km/h, something not all V-8 can achieve. Of course, the engine is helped out by a light-weight carbon body, keeping ths SLR to a slim 3898 lb/1768 kg. And last but most definatly not least, the all-around design of the vehicule is stunning to say the least. The exotic traits and sharp ligns of the exterior on this Mercedes is sure to have you turning your head, and the interior is of a unsurpassed quality. And now I know many people may think that 450 000 US$ is an exagerated price to pay for a car, but i know that if i had the money to buy one, I wouldn't hesitate one bit and I'm sure it would be worth every grand.

            - Infiniti G35 Coupe: Now obviously the G35 does not compare to the SLR Mclaren, but for the price, I strongly beleive it's the best car you can buy on the market today. Under the hood, you can find a nice 3.5 L V-6 engine, with 298 hp @ 6400 RPM and 260 lb-ft @ 4,800 RPM for the manual transmission, or 280hp @ 6200 RPM and 270 lb-ft @ 4800 RPM in the automatic version. That powerful engine and several other factors like a nearly perfect weight distribution on all 4 wheels, contribute to giving you one hell of a ride behind the wheel of a car that was also given a very sporty yet sophisticated look. All of this is just part of the reason I am sure I will one day own my own G35, specially when I know that I can have one for only about 33 000 US$.
