Alright, I know very little about cars, so I was wondering if someone here might be able to help me. I have a 1991 Dodge Dynasty. It's a 3.3L V6. Now, my problem is, every now and then my speedometer doesn't work. For example, I'll go out in the morning to go to school, and I'll get driving down the road, and my speedometer isn't moving. I have to guess how fast I'm going, etc. Then, maybe a couple miles down the road, it'll suddenly kick on and do fine. Other times, say when I'm in town, it will have been working all day. I'll stop and run in someplace, be gone for 5 minutes, and when I get back on the road, it isn't working again. Now, once it starts working, it'll keep working. The only time it doesn't work is after I've stopped the car and/or shut it off. Does anyone here know what I would want to get checked out for this? It can be kind of a pain...Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You need a new speed sensor, any auto service shop should be able to so this.
