Well I have a lot of customs bring these to me and most of them are junk. They are made of cheap metal and shady hose clamps and the filters are not a wash and reuse filter. I Own a shop and would be happy to sell or point you in the right direction on any car or truck question. Please drop me a line at 1 509 951 6663 call or text any time or email me at distantimports@yahoo.com

try your catalytic converter...they can go bad and need replaced...syptoms of them going bad are what you described...the car may run for a little and then shut off so maybe thats whats wrong with your car...if you dont have emissions just take the cat off and punch it out...it will make less restriction on the cars exhaust flow as well.

you dont have to drop the fuel tank to change your fuel pump...its located right behing the back seat in the floor of the trunk...foold down the back seat and pull the trunk carpet up and it should be right there.

You need to change the main relay which is under the dash by the steering column that should solve your problem.

if your honda accord fails to CRANK when you turn the key all the way... motor does not spin.. starter just clicks... click, click.. click..
you probably have a starter motor solenoid with eroded contact faces... you can see it in this article from a sister magazine..

http://www.8-lug.com/tech/1004_8l_starter_solenoid_repair/viewall.html
i usually install a cube relay in the wiring to the starter solenoid to reduce the distance the power has to flow to engage the solenoid... this is really easy to install if you are handy and have the proper crimp terminals... a relay and relay harness works best.. can be had at many car alarm installers... or electronic suppliers.. pin 30 gets a ring terminal to the battery cable connection of the starter solenoid.. pin 87 goes gets a 1/4 female quick connect and goes to the starter solenoid connection.. pin 85 gets a ring terminal and connects to a good engine ground.. pin 86 gets a male 1/4 quick connect and plugged into the end of the original solenoid wire.. then the connection taped up to stop it from disconnecting. or touching ground..
this removes all the load from the ignition switch circuit.. instead of the 30 or 40 amps through the ignition switch.. the switch now only has to send 1 amp down the wire.. ALL NEW CARS have this build right into the system..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
if you honda engine cranks.. but won't catch... change or repair the EFI main relay under the dash board to the left of the steering column.. you will need a 12 inch extension.. a 10MM deep socket and a ratchet to get at it.. i also use a mirror to see it and a flash light... its all the way to the top of the underside of the dash board... usually.. take the nut off.. pull the relay past the plastic flap.. then you can disconnect the wiring harness from it.. either resolder the circuit board connections inside the relay.. or replace it..
this is what the main relay looks like.. it controls the fuel injection system and the electric fuel pump...
If problem occurs after you have driven to the your destination, you park and when you come out it will crank over good but will not start. This will most likely be caused by your EFI main relay, located left of steering wheel up in the dash. Very unuser friendly location. These are about 60.00 at the dealer.
Hope this helps NOTE:there is a nice picture of the relay on the post above. hugh at Obd2CodeScantool.com
