Folks,

I've got a 96 3rd gen Toyota Camry that I'm attempting to remove the drive shaft from on the passenger's side (RH).

The shaft is supposed to slide out once you remove the bearing set screw and the retainer clip...

...of course, it's not proviving to be that easy at all.  I can not get the bearing w/ intermediate shaft to come out.

The design incorporates a roller bearing attached to an intermediate shaft at the end of the driveshft assembly.  [intermediateshft-bearing (inside mount)-inner CV-Shaft-outter CV]

How to hell do I get the bearing and shaft out of the rear motor mount?

Is there a tool or something I can purchase, etc???

Thanks,

Gerhard

Use a big hammer and a drive bar and tap it out at the back of the inner C/V joint, they can be hard to remove
