Does anyone know how to remove the rear speakers on an Infiniti G35 Coupe? I removed the cover from the inside of the trunk, but the speakers are screwed in from the top. I can't seam to remove the upper Bose covers to get to the screws! I've tried prying on them with a screwdriver but to no avail! They don't seam like they snap on. Any help would be gratly appreaciated!
I contacted an owner of a specialty car audio retail shop and told him about your problem. This is what he told me: The upper Bose cover on top of the rear speakers is part of the rear deck. What you have to do is actually remove the rear deck to gain access to the speakers. My contact told me that you first have to remove the lower portion and the back of the back seat so that you can gain access to the screws that hold the rear deck in place. Then remove the rear deck. Hope this helps. Assistance from: Isaac Goren, owner of Sounds Good Stereo, Woodland Hills, CA.
