PIE offers Apple iPod interfaces that allow the full control of the iPod from the OEM head unit including direct playlist access, random play mode, scan functions, etc. The company also has a device that works through the CD changer which is in turn controlled by the OEM head unit. Referred to as the PC-POD, the device works in vehicles from Audi, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Acura, and Volkswagen.
DPX Plus Digital Protocal Converters are available that allow the OEM head unit to control an aftermarket CD changer. This device works in Mazdas, Acuras, Hondas, Isuzus, Audis, BMWs, Chryslers, Dodges, Jeeps, Eagles, Ford/Lincoln/Mercury cars, Cadillacs, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, GMC vehicles, Buicks, chevrolets, Jaguars, Land Rovers, Mercedes Benzs, Nissans, Toyotas, Volvos, and Volkswagens. It is designed to control CD changers from Alpine, Kenwood, Sanyo, Sony, Pioneer, Panasonic, and Clarion.
DPX Plus Auxiliary Input Converters allow the mating of an aftermarket head unit with XM Satellite Radio to an OEM system. This device works with Pioneer and Sony made head units and works in Audis, Chryslers, Dodges, Jeeps, Eagles, Ford/Lincoln Mercury cars, Cadillacs, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Buicks, Chevrolets, Hondas, Acuras, Isuzus, Jaguars, Toyotas and Volkswagens.
Aftermarket Auxiliary Input/Output Adapter changes the CD changer port of aftermarket radios to an auxiliary RCA level input to allow connection of components with RCA level outputs. This device works on head units from JVC, Alpine, Blaupunkt, Kenwood, and Pioneer.
Interface CD Changer Converters allow the OEM head unit to accept an aftermarket CD changer. This works on Acuras, Hondas, BMWs, Chryslers, Dodges, Jeeps, Eagles, General Motors cars, Mazdas, Mercedes-Benzs, Plymouths, Porsches, Toyotas, Volvos, and Volkswagens. It also works on CD changers made by Alpine, Panasonic, and Pioneer.
LD-1 Line Driver boosts the RCA output of a head unit or other line level device which assures a better transmission of signal to the next component. This device has a 10 Hz. subsonic filter to protect components and independent left and right channel level adjustments.
On-Star Interface allows the On-Star System in General Motors cars to continue functioning after the factory radio has been replaced.
