If you are willing to change the transmission and radiator and stuff you can put a 350 in it. It is the same brackets and motor mounts for a 305 engine. If you go with a new one you can get the brackets and stuff from an aut recycler. You can get a new long block from GM for about 1100 dollars. Just get one that fits a 84-86 Chevy pickup. They work really nice in them. I put one in a 88 Camaro. Get yourself an intake and good carb and a set of headers and you will be off.
