i have a 1986 olds delta 88 royal brougham,it has a 3.8 engine with multiport fuel injection.it has thrown a rod or something and caused a hole in the block.my question is,will the block from a 3.8 with sequential fuel injection interchange,this other engine i have is out of a 1987 pontiac bonneville.

The block are the same just the intakes and fuel delivery is different.
