Ok. i was driviving home and i noticed that i couldnt accelerate. I tried giving my car more gas but that didnt work. The RPMs kept rising but my car wouldnt go past 60MPH. It really scared me. I pulled over to the side of the road and placed the car in park. I reved the engine a little the shifted back into drive. That fixed the problem for a little. Then it happened again. I couldnt accelerate. Im pretty sure its my automatic transmission. But could someone pleasse help me out with this. Im willing to take any advise. Thank you.

It could be a transmission problem or a timing belt problem.
