I did not receive an owner's manual with my 2002 Mercury Cougar. I have ordered one, but in the meantime, need to know what the dashlight means that looks like a wrench. It has just come on.

That is your Maint Required light. Basically your check engine light

I didn't receive an owner's manual with my 1999 cougar, and I have a light coming on by my rearview mirror that is an exclamation mark with a circle...and the right side of the circle is bolded. Does anyone know what this means?
