It looks like you're viewing a 2007 Toyota Tundra - based on the web site address that you pasted into your inquiry. Unfortunately, information regarding this vehicle will be limited until the end of the 2005 (at the earliest) as the manufacturer is better prepared to release more information about their 2007 model lines in mid 2006.

I agree even as a Ford fanatic. But reconsider the F-150 with some aftermarket enhancements. You'd be suprised what a little personal touch's can do to a car!!!!

Not sure what the original guy's trying to say, but everyone might want to know that the Tundra's getting even bigger in 2007, and I believe it will be built in Texas. Tis gonna create a dilemma for the residents: "should I buy American, or should I buy Texas?" Toyota did that on purpose, of course.

I test drove the 2005 4x4 tundra. Great Pickup!!! One gets a lot for one's $. After driving Dodge Rams 4x4 for 20 years the tundra's ride is like a cadallic. Question: Is the tundra ok to plow snow with? The reason I ask is because of all the covering under the front bumper.

Hi Cas,
They make snow plows that will fit the 05 Tundras, so it's a safe bet they will fit the 06 because the Tundra sounds like it will be a hold over. Do you know the release date for the 2006 Tundra? Any changes? Take care...

I currently own a '04 Tundra Double Cab 4x4. 100 bucks for a leveling kit, slap some 285-17's and she sits even with a chevy 2500 or F-250. I can hardly wait for the new '07 to arrive. They will unvail it this coming Jan. '06 at the Detroit Auto Show. The new Tundra should sport a 5.4 V-8 in the release model, and by '08 they should have their Hybrid engine out. I will tell what I have heard about the Hybrid, but it's kinda unreal. Close to 400 hp and close to 40mpg, sounds good to me. If anyone has heard anything about the hp for the new 5.4, please post up, I can't find anything on it. I am also hearing word of a 3/4 ton diesel, but I have seen nothing on the internet that really says much about that. As for the buy American or buy Texan? Every Toyota truck on the road is built in the great USA, Princeton, IN or in San Antonio. Cant say that about Ford, Dodge or Chevy(mostly Canada and Mexico). Toyota may be a Japanese Company, but they employ Americans to Build their trucks. To this day I have owned a total of 23 Toyota's, mostly trucks (A Sequioa, a 4-runner and a Camry), and will own 24 once the 07 model comes out, unless I wait for the hybrid.

I just picked up my 06 Tundra xcab last night. I love it! I have had 2 Ford rangers xlt xcabs previously and was considering stepping up to the the F150 but all it took was a test drive and I bought it. It's very roomy, lot's of headroom. I was able to negotiate a great deal. I got it for what I've seen used 2005's going for at www.cars.com. I've only put 50 miles on it today and I would recommend that if you are teetering between the Tundra and another brand is to simply drive it. Just my .02 worth.
