"We've based it on the new Zeta platform, giving it a fully independent four-wheel suspension, rear-wheel drive, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a 400hp LS2. It could be built on the same Holden *** line that currently builds the GTO; with a slightly more upscale trim than the GTO it would cost about $1,500 more."

Would this sell? or Will it be a flop like the GTO?

I'm going with flop. I think the GTO proved you can't just bring back tghe name. People want looks and performance that connect the car to the original. The GNX was in the 80s, I don't think reviving a design from the 80s is retro enough. (Unless maybe we were talking about a Delorean) I also don't think the GNX was really an Iconic design to begin with.
Wasn't there a whole other thread about speed holes?

This vehicle will not sell. Unfortunately, and this is a considerably cynical approach, anything associated with the Buick nomenclature is doomed to failure. Once you get past the reliability concerns, which have been greatly alleviated with the LaCrosse and the Lucerne, and the plain as vanilla styling, which has subsequently also been addressed to a degree, there remains a persistent problem within Buick: the image. The image at Buick is indeed in very dire straits. It is never good when a brand's core consumer base is used as a punchline in the automotive world. Unfortunately for Buick, it is, and as the situation stands pricing this "new" GNX in the Accord/300C even A4/3-Series range is almost too ambitious. This is partly because Buick has lost a lot of credibility to own any stake in this hotly competitive market. On the relative bright side the GNX does take a departure from looking like the rest of the rather appliance-looking and unemotional Buick line. Its front-end, however, does look like it had gotten into a premature accident. But the Hofmeister Kink in chrome accents on the C-Pillar is very seductive and the rear reminds me of the Aston Martin Rapide concept. In summary: the GNX is a better-looking Buick, a seemingly better-performing/drivers car Buick, but unfortunately will not prove to be a better-selling Buick.

I think the car looks really good. The only thing that I feel that will keep it from selling, like others have said, is the buick name.

If they bring it back, I hope it is twin turbo'd again.

Oh my bad I probably assumed that because I saw a video of a GNX smoking it's wheels on a dyno (1000+ hp) and it was twin turbo
