One of the biggest bombshells to hit the auto industry since GM's massive cuts in 2005, the possible merger of GM with Nissan/Renault has the automotive industry holding its collective breath. What's your opinion of such an alliance?

Why not? Think about it: a Pontiac with RWD from Nissan and styling from Renault for less than $30k. Sweet!

its like the blind leading the blind, lets see, how can each company make their cars crappier....hmmmmm.... lets merge togther and combine all are crappy ideas into a car.
