Hello, I have a TPV terf personell vehicle. It is a pick-up with canvas doors no heater or radio. Water cooled 600cc Subaru engine, gas powered. I think this is the same engine that the Subaru 600 used. I would lok there for a starter. I just called BIC and got the fax machine squeel. I will try again. Keep in touch mikekocks@gmail.com

I worked in the Austin Factory (Jet Industries)that converted these vans to electric vehicles. As I recall the engines were removed and sold. Most of the vans were sold to city government and amusement parks, like Disney. The factory closed when Ronald Reagan cut the alternative vehicle funding. Jet was the first electric vehicle production line in the world. Before the factory closed we were producing, on average 1 car a day, different models. The Sanfu Bic was converted to the Electravan 600.

I see parts are hard to find but can you get them anywhere I believe they used the engine in street cars in Japan?
Is it possible to get a copy of the manual?
Will pay for time and expense.

craigs list is a good spot to sell it.... you might post it... with the full model name in the title...
after 20 minutes... google that exact brand name and model... you will probably find your post... then hang on...
there are a few people out there who really want them.... but they probably only search the web a few times a month...

Wow...this thread is dead, but...
I just bought a Sanfu truck in Idaho. Has a running gasoline powered engine. Valve covers are cast with 'Sanfu' and nearly everything is cast with 'Taiwan' unlike a Sambar. Truck has no ID plate and haven't yet found any ID or VIN numbers. Would love to hear from anyone with a similar vehicle or a manual. gran.cushman@yahoo.com
