My frontier has 6k on the engine and the belt squeeks between 2000 and 4500 rpm when it is at operating temperature. Any dealer I take it to says that the belt tensioner is bad and replaces it under warranty and no matter what I say they wont spend the time to trouble shoot the real cause. Any suggestions as to why this is happening.

Does it have an idler also? Did they check that also?

they say idler pulley is good. It seems to only squeek now on very hot and high humidity days.

And is the A/C on on these hot and humid days? More to the point, are there any accessories in use when it happens that aren't on when it doesn't?

Seems to squeek with A/c on or off. The squeek will be audible unless you drive for 45 minutes or longer then goes away, but after you park it and let it cool the squeek is back. Still squeeks with all accessories or no accessories on.
