Gas Mileage of Big Diesels - Ford F250 & Chevy

does any one know the MPG of the big diesel trucks? I can't find the information anywhere on the internet.

I am wondering the comparison of the Ford F250 V8 Turbo diesel versus the v10

Hi there

I'm also interested in what the F250's fuel consumption should be. We have one here in New Zealand (Brazilian made) 7.3 ltr Diesel V8 and we get 5 to 6 k to the litre.

I'd be very interested to know what others are getting with their trucks. We've complained to Ford, with very little response. We think the diff might be locking on after being in four wheel drive. The other hassle we have with it, is that the engine dies when going down hill! Not often, just every 10 - to 20k km. Once again Ford have not been all that helpful.

I'd be interested to hear if any Ford F150 / 250 / 350 owners have had similar problems.
