Hey everyone, I'm posting this for my girlfriend's friend so I dont have all information on the car but feel free to email me at the below address with any further questions as well as picture requests.
The car is a 2000 Toyota Camry, not sure of the trim level though, it is not the V6, it is the four cylinder model. The car has neither leather or a sunroof or alloys but does have all other options ie. pwr windows/locks, cruise, a/c, cd player etc. so I'm *** that while it's not the top of the line trim model but rather the mid trim level. Car is being sold due to the daughter of the owner crashing it recently. car sustained moderate damage that I will further explain below. The Toyota is a sandy golden color with tan cloth interior, not sure if coupes were an availible type for this year but anyway the car is a four door. Car is an automatic, this Camry has only 63,xxx miles on her, and before and after the accident the car ran flawlessly. I repeat, this car will still start right up! Motor/drivetrain unnafected by accident!
Car was rolled on grass median in middle of thruway driving normal speeds. Airbags NOT deployed and perfectly intact, most damage inflicted was to drivers side front corner and ever so SLIGHT buckle/crimp of metal rail above passenger doors (roughly where the rain channel on the roof is. pretty basic fix, just needs to be pounded flat.)
HERES THE DESCRIPTION OF THE DAMAGE. Car is complete and nothing has been removed/parted out or touched since accident. I'm a certified body repair technician so you can trust that I'm giving you good judgment on what seems practical to repair/salvage and what's considered scrap.
EXTERIOR:
Hood--> Scrap/useless Front Bumper--> Can be reused, scuffed and only slightly cracked. Fenders--> Passenger side absolutely mint/unaffected by accident. Driver's side fender scrap/useless. Headlights--> Driver's side light broken, passenger's side light perfect condition. Corner Lenses--> Driver's side light smashed, passenger's side perfect condition. Grill--> Perfect condition. Front core support/Radiator support--> Pushed down on driver's side, may be reusable. Mirrors--> Both broken. Driver's/Passenger's side front doors--> Passenger side decent condition, minor damage. Driver's side in need of more work, could be salvaged. Door Glass--> Door glass on ALL FOUR DOORS is perfect, intact and not cracked. Windshield--> Smashed, useless. Roof--> Some slight buckling/denting, I've seen worse damaged roofs repaired though. Driver's/Passenger's side rear doors--> Passenger side pretty good condition, driver's side badly damaged, recommend scrap. Passenger quarter panel--> Moderate denting, can be fixed. Driver's side quarter panel--> Slightly worse damage, borderline scrap. Rear Window--> Unaffected/perfect condition. Trunk lid--> Unaffected/perfect condition. Rear Bumper--> Unaffected/perfect condition. Taillights--> Unaffected/perfect condition. Fuel Door--> Unaffected/perfect condition.
ANY OTHER QUESTIONS REGUARDING EXTENT OF EXTERIOR DAMAGE PLEASE EMAIL ***
INTERIOR:
Other than some broken glass from windshield on seats and floor, interior is 100% complete and undamaged. Nor are there any rips/stains, no cracks in dash/door panels or smells from vehicle and owner was nonsmoker. Again air bags are NOT deployed.
SUSPENSION:
All suspension on the rear of the car is perfect condition and unaffected by accident. As well as passenger's side front. Only damage to suspension is perhaps on driver's side front, but since I have not been able to get under vehicle to inspect that corner I cannot say there is any damage there either. The driver's side front wheel sits straight and doesnt appear bent.
WHEELS:
All four tires are fairly new but as result from the accident, are flat, wheels are just factory toyota steelies, hubcaps missing from accident.
EXHAUST SYSTEM:
Leak free and in perfect condition.
FUEL TANK/LINES/PUMP:
Leak free and in perfect condition before and after accident.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
Perfect condition before and after accident.
MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION:
63,xxx original miles as verified by odometer. In perfect condition before AND AFTER accident, bring a battery and you can start her right up but you wouldnt want to run it for long as radiator is damaged from accident. NO knocks or ticking. Transmission shifts easily and smoothly.
DRIVETRAIN:
Driver's side axle MAY be bent slightly due to accident being mostly oriented in front driver's side corner, but I have not verified this so as far as I know, the drivetrain is unaffected by accident.
PAINT:
Other than what was obviously damaged in accident, paint was in good to great condition and still glossy.
FRAME/UNDERBODY:
Perfect condition and unaffected by accident.
