I have water on passenger side floor front and back. Water appears not to be coolant. Dealer has drilled hole through drain housing and cleaned drain out. Drain was not plugged. Some water is going through it. Evaporator housing just above drain is sweating about 1.5-2" all over bottom and dripping. Water appears to be coming out rear passenger floor vent soaking floor. AC is cooling fine. What do I do? Please give specific detail of fix.

My 96 Grand Jeep Cherokee did the same thing and the dealer drilled the hole also through drain housing and cleaned drain out but it didn't help because the next little trip there was water again.
Took it a specialist.
It's the A/C Evaporator core gone bad and it happens to all Grand Jeeps. Total price was around $700.00 and that was cheap I found out.

NOOOOO! the core is fine, my 96 grand had the same problem, the problem is created when the water is being blown back through the fire wall while driving long didtsnces. at my dealership the jeep tech cut a 1 1/2 in hole in the frame on the passengers side just behind the tire and installed an L shaped tube to allow the water to drain properly! serously, if you paid $700 you got royally screwed. this fix is a secret my tech swears he made up himself and isnt in any jeep book. all i know is it cost nothing and the problem is fixed! sorry, you got ripped dude!

Had the same problem and boy did I get taken to the cleaners. They replaced the whole system for me to the tune of $1800 and it still did the same thing. The housing under the condensor was cracked as well. The fix that is mentioned is what another person told me after the fact.

There are multiple paths that this water problem can happen with Jeeps. I thought it might be the core too but found out it was fine, still a water issue. As far as water blowing back through the firewall ... can't be an issue for me since it accumulates water sitting on the street and my total commute is 6mi roundtrip, wouldn't consider long distance.
