So who's going to buy one?

"DaimlerChrysler chairman Dieter Zetsche today announced that the unique and urban-friendly Smart brand will enter the U.S. market."

It was one of them, I sometimes have trouble telling them apart.

I think the first post was, "They MIGHT be bringing the smart to the US" and did we think it was a good idea. This one says they ARE bringing it over.

Some ask: "Are we ready for the Smart?"  In addition, I would also ask: "Are we ready for the price-tag accompanying the Smart?"  For several preliminary reports indicate that the indescribably little 60-75hp 84mph-limited two-door ForTwo will carry a base price of $23,000-$27,000 U.S. Dollars! And here I thought Smart wanted to actually succeed in the ultra-competitive U.S. market.  If these prices stand, no offense to future Smart owners but with what you get for that much hard-earned money spent, you could hardly consider yourself "Smart."
