I have a problem that might be able to be fixed without taking it to the repair shop but I don't know. When I start it, initially it makes this high pitched squealing that will go awya after about a minute. The belts have both been replaced, tightened and adjusted. What could be the problem? (By the way I know it's not the condenser because it still happens when the AC is turned off).

who replaced the belts? It sounds like they are still your problem. Have them checked again
