Hyundai Motor America has cut $700 from the sticker price of the base model Santa Fe SUV for the 2007 model year.
The redesigned Santa Fe carries a base price of $21,595, including shipping, the company said Thursday. The price drop comes even as the automaker increases the shipping charge from $600 for the 2006 model to $650 for the 2007 model.
The 2007 will reach dealerships this month, the automaker said.

See I would've agreed with Burtreyn0lds as soon as a year ago, until I heard some Hyundai's were winning awards over Toyota's. However, aside from the reliability concerns, I still would try to acquire a Toyota/Honda/anything other than a Hyundai. When a company has the originality of basing its logo on the italics of another make, that's when I know it's not worth my money.
