anyone out there done head gaskets on one of these with the 4.3L V-6? I don't see how you can get to all the exhaust manifold bolts and ultimately retorque them properly during *** this motor is really stuffed in there. Do the pro's yank the motor (that involves removing sub-frame bushings, and is no piece of cake either, etc.) or do you pull inner fender wells to acess the bolts? It's lookin' like this 200k machine might have met its demise, I don't know if its worth the time and labor. Any advice?

Most people do not take a torque wrench to the exhaust manifold bolts...just tighten them down. The really important torques are the head bolts, which should be new, and the intake bolts.
