I was wondering if anyone knows how to disarm the alarm in my 1994 Saab 900 S, 2.3 liter, 4-cylinders.  The alarm went off, and I tried what I thought was the right thing to do, by turning the key all the way the right, in the driver's side door, and then unlocking it, of course.  But this din't work.  Does anyone know if there is a special trick to it?  

iot should just shut off after a couple minutes.   hopefully  

you could remove the fuse (located on the side of your dash when you open the driver's side door). this will deactivate the alarm. just remove the cover and read inside the manual that should be in there as well. in my saab 900 it's number 23 you need to remove.
