It's a favorite family pastime -- riding ATVs. Whether exploring the natural beauty of forests, deserts, mountains or canyons, there's nothing quite like a summer getaway to enjoy the great outdoors and a little family bonding. Now, more than ever, families are hitting the trails to take in the ATV riding experience.

"There are destinations all over the country to ride ATVs," said Glenn Hansen, communications manager, American Suzuki. "Suzuki created the four-wheeled ATV, and has for more than 20 years helped provide families with enjoyable recreation and access to the great outdoors."

Suzuki's product line features ATVs for the whole family. This year, Suzuki released the QuadSport Z50, a small, lightweight ATV for adult-supervised beginning riders ages 6 and older. And, for kids over the age of 12, Suzuki introduces the all-new 2007 QuadSport Z90, a new clean-burning four-stroke-powered ATV. For riders 16 and older, Suzuki has a wide variety of ATVs for all skill levels from its QuadRunner, QuadSport and QuadRacer product lines.

With the appropriate ATVs in tow and the right safety gear to go along with it, the next decision is where to go for the family getaway. Recreational experts at Suzuki suggest these summer hot spots:

   *  Riders can enjoy sandy and hilly terrain at the Cinder Hills recreation area near Flagstaff, Ariz. -- a popular site with lots of trails to choose from.

Glamis is fun i've been a couple times never really been on a atv we just drove my friends f350 on the dunes but i don't know if i would suggest it as a family place, their is a certain amount of non family stuff going on and you need sand paddles for your atv or dirtbike

Take your boat when you go RV-ing

I took my colorstorm kit and put 4 sticks on the boat not knowing if the water would short out the kit, the manufacturer claims it's as close to water proof as a frogs butt, this night out with the guys will definetly put it to the test. I thought the kit was cool looking under the car but off the water wow it might be the coolest accessory I have ever seen on a boat. The only part we went out of our way to keep dry was the cpu, put it in a plastic bag and it worked great we had alot of fun and are planning to try it again this weekend.

Happy boating
