ok need some input on this. I have a small block 350 in a 75 chevy corvette i had a guy build what was supposed to be a 400hp motor. They used flat top pistons with 4 valve relife basically a stock bottom end. The cam is the Edelbrock RPM with 234/244 @.050 with .488/.510 lift. They used the 882 smog heads with a edelbrock preformer manifold. The car has headers with a 2.5 inch exhaust into dynomax mufflers. The car has a turbo 400 with a 3000 stall. Also a 600cfm holley carb. The bottom is basically a L-48. My idea is to make this motor preform but on a budget. My plan is to use
Vortec heads upgraded for .550 lift Edelbrock RPM Air Gap 670 holley street avenger This should be good for about 9.5:1 compression
or
L-98 Heads Edelbrock RPM Air Gap 670 holley street avenger this should be good for about 10:1 compression
Any help on input using the RPM cam would be appriciated.
