The new SUVs seemed to be aimed more for the road than the hills. Should they then have continued to carry the "Jp" badge or sent back to the drawing board?

I'm not sure how much of a market they are going to find for the compass. Its styling is odd at best, and it looks like they are trying to compete with the Subaru Forester, which doesn't seem to sell that well. I am not sure it will hurt their image, I would guess the percentage of people that buy Jeeps to go offroading is relatively small anyway. The Patriot appears to be a smaller version of the same formula they are using for the rest of their line up.
