sweet, brings to mind the e31 850i (v12).  i would not but a high performance car in a convertible though.  the only performance convertible I would buy would be an s2000 simply because there is no other choice (not comparing the two cars).

Oh man, one of the greatest things on the M6 that the M5 does not have is the carbon fiber roof... now it's replaced by canvas...

ah the M6, i personally like the styling even though some do not.  The convertible is pretty decent IMO for a convertible (not really a big fan).

i don't think that softtop is exactly canvas

"The roof of the BMW M6 convertible is made of three layers. A special noise and heat insulating layer of polyurethane (PUR) foam comes between the rubberized outer layer and the interior roof lining. Thanks to its unique fin-roof look, the soft top boasts the same dynamic contours as the Coupe."

like everyone else, I'm not really a convertible guy, plu I'm not a big fan of the 6 series. I think I would take the M5 instead. Or seeing how the M6 coupe is like 97K, I would buy an M5 and a miata for when I really wanted to get some sun haha.

iDrive sucks... factory setting is at 400hp. You have to play with the computer to have the car run at its full potential. But yeah, I would definately get a M5 before a M6.

There is a push button on the center console to switch it into hyper-thruster 500hp sport mode. I think it is rather gimmicky, but whatever.
