both are american cars, big V8`s and a different but nice look both of them, chevy's car has better performance( aceleration, slalom speeds, handling , breaking, top-speed) and a sportier look, and it costs almost 47K USD, against the ford mustang gt500 that I guess that is because its a lil' bit chubby compared with the vette , that even with 100 extra hp than the vette, can't pass it in straight line ( not to mention track cause the vette would kick mustang *** but has a great look and yeeess.. 4 seats, ( even when the back ones are for midgets)
price 41K, 45 well equiped more or less.

id go with the vette... 4.3 0 to 60, 186 top speed, ( better looks to *** but the mustang gt500 its  a great car too, and a nice bang for the buck if you want to own your own 500 hp supercar  

the mustand is cool cause of the iconic value (elenor) but if i had to choose one, id go with the c6 for performance reasons.  

I'm going with the vette just for the IRS. I think even with 500hp you can't really call the mustang a supercar.

Practicality?? Come on... where's your inner child? I bet if you were to test drive both cars, you would choose the C6.  

Im a performance man so I say the C6, if you want a practical every day car get a hybrid or something :-)  

Are u people retard? The Shelby Gt500 has IRS and I would consider looking for a different website if u are going to compare a c6 to a gt500. But on the other hand if the c6 is considered a supercar than why can't the Shelby Gt500 also be in that catergory.
